314C-1335 Pneumatic Rivet Squeezer

June 12, 2021

I dont know about one handed operation, thats a stretch, but OK. The one I got looks nothing like the photo, I think I receive a PRO PNEUMATIC C DOUBLE FORCE SQUEEZER which is $649 not $688, whatevs man I need a squeezer, that upsets me a little, but it does squeeze the ever loving crud outta rivet. I mean like perfect - and the wifey keeps sleepin, which is very important for your happiness. So yes this tool will bring you joy. It is not clear you will need anything more for this in the description but you NEED to have a rivet set for this. I recommend the RV 21 PIECE DIMPLING & RIVET SET KIT. No, just get it. If you dont get it at the same time you will be staring at a useless noisemaker (psst). Fun huh. Do NOT skimp on the squeezer set, you need all different lengths as this tool is NOT adjustable, it says that clearly in the uh - there are no instructions which is why I must enlighten you here now. The very last thing - check out the longeron yoke and other longer squeezer yokes like the 5-5/8. Dont be so cheap man. Get one. Youll go to place this over a rib and just come up shy wishing you had another inch. Yeah, thats never happened before. 3 stars. 4 if you gimme some money back for sending me what I didnt order. Better yet send me one of those longeron yokes and Ill throw in an extra star to top you up. Now get back to building.

Q: Will the Model 6000 squeezer be suitable to set the 3/16 rivets in Vans RV-6 wing spars?

The Model 6000 Squeezer (part # 12-03500) will squeeze up to a 3/16" "AD" aliminum rivet. I'm not sure what is in an RV kit, but if it is an AN426AD or AN470AD, this will work.
Also, the supplier advised the Model 3000 Squeezer (part # 12-03400) will do up to an 1/8" aluminum AD rivet and 3/32" steel rivet.

Q: Who manufactures your 12-03400 & 12-03500 Pneumatic Rivet Squeezers? Made in the USA?

These are manufactured by Atlantic Air Tool in the USA.

Q: How is the travel adjusted on this unit and does it accept the standard 3/16 shank sets?

Per Vendor: The squeezer has approximately a 9/16 travel. This travel is non adjustable from the outside of the unit. If you take the back head (AATC#103) off the squeezer body you can replace the #33 nut with a longer nut and that would reduce the travel. The longer the nut the shorter the travel.

If you want to adjust the closed gap of the yoke you need to do this with the length of the rivet sets and hardened shims.

Our tools do accept the 3/16 shank sets.
