Blade Pitot Cover Forgetting to remove a faded, dull and worn-out pitot tube cover can jeopardize the safety of you and your passengers. And when cold weather prevents you from installing your pinch-and-insert style blade pitot cover, ice and snow can contaminate your pitot system. Some blade pitot covers also cause damage to paint when the sleve is being forced on and off. The highly conspicuous and very durable Plane Sights Blade Pitot Cover is a perfect fit for any aircraft with a blade-type pitot tube. Properly installed, it’s guaranteed not to blow off, fade in the sun or wear out for at least two years. Fits Piper, Katana, some Rockwell, late Grumman, Lake 250, and all other aircraft with a blade-type pitot tube. Weight: 0.15 kg |

Plane Sights Blade Pilot Cover
Very good product. Only one I have found that does the job for mast type pitot/static tubes. Price point is about right. Have had one for 9 years & just bought a second one for a friends airplane. Recommended!

Purchased to use on an AOA probe. Works great. Hopefully it will prevent banging the noggin during a walk around.
Worked well for years, never came off, and very bright so you wont fail to see it. (I got lazy and stopped installing it and got a bug that plugged it. Now installed after every flight!)
High-visibility streamer is great, and the cover does snugly stay on the pitot blade. However, we have had a couple instances where water collects at the bottom of the cover, allowing water to get in to the pitot/static system. We never had this problem with the old plastic covers that form a tight seal around the pitot blade. Can't recommend these covers for pitot blades.
Does what it's supposed to do, but quality isn't the best. The garter portion has already fallen apart after just a year and a half. Do Not recommend.
