A single push activates the flashlight, and if it’s on for more than 5 seconds the next push turns the flashlight off. However, if you do desire a dimmer light, within 5 seconds push the button a second time to dim the beam or a third time for a built-in SOS signal. This means the SOS feature is only activated when you want it, not when you’re simply trying to turn off the flashlight.
