If your deciding between the Aerocreeper and the EZ Creeper, Ill tell you what I found. Aerocreeper vs. EZ Creeper. I bought the EZ creeper, the shop I work in has 2 Aerocreepers..... The Aerocreeper is better than the EZ Creeper! The build quality of the Aerocreeper is far and above superior! The EZ Creeper has cheap casters, the welds are horrible and the thing leaks hydraulic fluid! The warranty for the EZ Creeper is also worthless because youll spend $300 in shipping to send it back to the guy who makes it in his garage. Whats that? Your EZ Creeper is only a year old and you just need the O-Rings to fix the system those leaks of Tractor Hydraulic Fluid (thats right he didnt even use 5606)? No problem - the guy will sell you a set for $37 plus shipping. I said - no thanks and went to my local hydraulic pats supplier who said the o-rings cost less than the sales receipt cost - so he gave them to me. The hydraulic pump and valve assembly on the EZ Creeper is horribly made and isnt even deburred. The Aerocreeper is smooth rolling, its strong as an ox and it works every single time! The EZ Creeper is so flimsy you cant push against it like pushing a landing gear into position - but you can with the Aerocreeper. Save your money and heartache and just go simple. Youll be happy you did. I pray that Spruce never sells the EZ Creeper - theyll get a ton of returns.
Great product. Works as advertised. I use it all the time and find it to be the best creeper available. I highly recommend this product.
This creeper is a lovely addition to the aircraft maintenance tools set. It will make working on the bottom of the wing etc. much nicer. As for the size of this creeper, Im 5-11 and the seat fits me fine. Like the other poster said it was too small for him at 6-2 so I may be near the edge of the back rest. (Something to consider) Now for my biggest gripe, I purchased the one with the articulating seat and with 4 casters. This thing weighs in around 50Lbs. I have to lift it into my Pick-up truck typically over the side. It is over 5.5 feet high and is a struggle to lift it out of the truck. I do believe the company is working on making this unit weigh less, so hopefully in the future it can come in at around 30Lbs. Also, as another reviewer mentioned, it would be beneficial to have the creeper lock down in place so as to not roll around when you are working. Something perhaps foot operated so that you could lock it and release it from the seat. (Just a thought). The height adjustment is very rough, and I find it needs to be finer at the lower settings. For those interested, I recorded the height of the seat and the backrest at each adjustment position. I recorded it here as Seat Height / Top of Backrest height (With the 4 casters) Starting with the bottom setting with it lying flat. 7 / 7 10 / 16 13.5 / 26 16 / 33 18 / 38 19 / 41 20 / 45 21 / 47 21.5 / 49.3 22 / 50.5 This is a very upright seating position. (Not sure that I need a Creeper to go this high.)
team to take images you
Dont waste your money. I waited a long time to get one because of the cost. IT PLAIN SUCKS! I opted for the bigger casters. It rolls way to easy..when your trying tp wrench on something its like a rodeo to stay on the thing. Any debris in the floor will stop it in its tracks. Its not made for tall people. With my but on the seat, my head barely fits on it. Im 62. In my experience it is either too tall or too short. The height adjustment is not fine enough. It basically sits in the corner of the shop and Im back to rolling around on the floor. Huge waste of money

The creeper will support 350 lb with either the standard or the heavy duty casters. (The standard casters are rated at 120 lb each and the heavy duty casters are rated at 250 lb each so if the load is distributed over 3 or 4 casters, they should easily support 350 lb.)
