Using it to make an Aeronca landing gear snare cable. Its a good low cost part for that but not perfect since the tab is offset and not centered.

Q: What diameter screw or bolt holes do the clamps have for use on 1/4 and 3/8 tubing sizes?

These have both been measured out to .219". You can use #10 sheet metal, or 10-32 threaded bolts or machine screws.

Q: What is the width of these AN742 clamps?

Dash 2 thru 10 has a .375" band width, and the larger dash numbers have a .500" band width.

This clamp will use a 10-32 threaded bolt.
