I chose to backorder the wrenches, and Aircraft Spruce sent them as soon as they got some inventory. Very good quality wrenches. I bought these NEW from Aircraft Spruce for LESS than used ones selling on eBay. Thank you!
Hello, this was an odd order to begin with. The wrenches were not in the US Inventory so had to be ordered from overseas. I waited around 2 1/2 months but Customer Service sent me updates to let me know changes to the est ship dates and when the Wrenches were actually on a ship headed my way and any other updates. I was impressed with this. When my wrench set finally arrived I discovered that the set contained 2 ea of the same wrench but one package had been misidentified, thus the reason for 4 stars. I do not believe this was the fault of AS&S but rather the supplier on the other end. As someone who worked Quality Control for many years, this one would have been tough to spot unless you were looking for it. Customer Service was notified and the proper wrench was sent out immediately. I am satisfied with my order however, this error did cost me some time in repackaging / shipping my return for the credit on the replacement wrench. I will use Aircraft Spruce & Specialty again for my Aviation supplies in the future.
Took a little while, only way to get a narrow deck cylinder with lycoming base nuts off. Quality seems good
I purchased the two wrench set for a narrow deck O-320. Neither wrench have the clearance needed to engage the socket cylinder head bolts. They will have to be modified. Disappointed.
