Overview

3-hole flange, mounting 2.54" bolt, Circle 1.45" diameter holes.

Standard equipment in most production aircraft. Operate on any DC voltage from 12 to 24 volts. These solid-state hour meters are recommended for use on aircraft because they start or stop instantly when power is applied or removed. Furnished with mounting hardware. If meter is connected improperly it will not operate but meter will not be damaged. The running indicator indexes every 6 seconds.

Q: Is it possible to preload hours to match our existing hobbs meter that stopped functioning?

No, we cannot pre-set the hours on this meter.

Q: Whats the difference between Datcon #871 and #873 hour meters?

Only the mounting style. The 871 is a round style gauge and 873 fits in a 2-1/4 instrument hole.

Q: What type of electrical hook up on the back?

The gauge has (2) 1/4 PIDG blades on the back for negative and positive.
