The Scott Brake Master Cylinder is one of the largest selling aircraft master cylinders in the world. Installed as standard equipment on Piper and other aircraft for many years, these units provide rugged and virtually trouble-free service with few wearing parts. One pair of master cylinders – one left hand (1248H) and one right hand (1260H) – is required on most aircraft. On the Piper Tri-Pacer, however, only one left master cylinder (1248H) is required.

Perfect fit for my colt…
Scott Type Diaphragm For Brake Cylinder
It is just a piece of punched rubber, nothing special. Make sure to thoroughly clean the contact surfaces before you install a new one. Fibers from an old one can remain which will eventually cause a leak. Learned this the hard way.

Scott Type Diaphragm For Brake Cylinder
As described, fit well, functions fine. Its a flat piece of rubber with a bunch of holes, so not too much else to say.
Well, its a gasket, but it does fit perfectly and my brakes quit leaking, so its a win!
