Wonderful tool! Necessary if you want to have good safety wire installations
This is my second one. I really enjoy their products. Works great.
Great tool!
My Milbar pliers worked well, especially in comparison to the off brand pliers purchased by a club member. Note of caution: While teaching an inexperienced club member how to safety wire and while my back was turned, he broke the pliers by allowing the threaded grip to come loose while he furiously tried to finish the task. Lesson learned: Keep you eyes on your tools.
Great price, fast shipping.
Looks like a quality product
Overall these are good quality wire twisters, however we ordered 5 or 6 pairs and one of them was manufactured incorrectly. Aircraft Spruce Shipped us a replacement pair at no charge, but didnt communicate they were going to do that. Overall would buy again.
Cheaply made. It appears that aircraft tools are becoming a cheaply made tool. For the price and name brand, the safety wire twisters should be top quality. From the feel of using them, I don’t expect them to last very long. Milbar needs to step it up.
Sadly, Took these out of box and immediately noticed they were not quality made Lots of plastic. A pair of 45W reversible. Tried them on some light wire and the ratchet would not lock up. The direction knob wood not feel like it was working correctly. Finally tap on it and worked one direction, but felt like it was going to fail. Did finally get other direction, but never locked into ratchet well. I have Millbar pliers over 40 years old that still work well. This is just sad. Sending back.
I am rating the 6 Reversible pliers. They are JUNK. The reversing mechanism WILL NOT hold up with anything heavier than 0.025 wire. I have had these 2 years and after one round of pulling .052 wire theyre done! The standard NON-reversing pliers have served me for 30 years. The return spring is a bit weak but they still work!
