Flyties Tie-Down Kit
I was quite impressed after my first use of the Fly-Ties. Ease of setting up and removal along with providing a substantial anchor for the aircraft is first rate.

I used this at KOSH. It comes in a handy little bag. The pucks are not going to ever come loose. The tool to remove the stakes work great.

We just returned from Airventure ‘22 and used these to keep the airplane secure. Outstanding quality and easy to use. Thankfully we didn’t have to test them against the monster storm that roared through the day before we arrived. The winds did pick up to 25 knots or so while we were there and the airplane didn’t go anywhere. Pros: Solid and well-machined. Compact. Stakes are plenty long. Removal tool worked far better than I had originally expected. Carry bag is plenty adequate. Rope is very good quality with the ends sealed with heavy-duty heat shrink tubing. Cons: Heavy (but so is everything else). Does not include a hammer or sledge (recommend a 2-pound sledge).
I finally got the chance to use these while camping with the 170 recently. Initial impression is great: the kit fits easily into the storage bag (which is decent enough quality), the size of the kit itself is relatively compact, and the hardware is high quality. It only took a few minutes to get all the stakes in, and those things do NOT budge. The winds ended up picking up later into the evening, gusting to over 40 knots at one point. The tie-down points did not move one bit. Combined with a quality tie-down knot, the plane isnt going anywhere. Highly recommend this kit.
Went to Sun N Fun and used these. Big storm with high winds and rain came through in 2022 and my aircraft was secure. When I went to remove them, the tool was great and they were solid in the ground. I also like that they are less weight and smaller than the others available on the market.
