This booklet was written by Richard Jimenez to educate pilots in knowing the critical speeds of an aircraft that can be used in emergency conditions.
When low on fuel, what speed should you fly the aircraft maximum distance per gallon of fuel? When circling an airport waiting for the ground fog to clear so you can land, what speed should you fly the aircraft for maximum time per gallon of fuel? When taking off, what speed should you fly the aircraft to get the maximum angle of climb to clear high obstacles? This book gives the answers to those questions. Also other critical speeds are given plus how to fly to use less fuel. Each order includes a placard to use to note your aircraft's critical speeds. |
