Fuel Cap Covers Set Of 2
This is best designed to be used when an airplane is sitting outside for an extended period of time and left on the tanks. It is not designed to be used for a short stay and then remove to add fuel and used again later. They have an an adhesive that sticks to the wing and tank filler cap and removes paint when removed. It is not designed for multiple uses!

Fuel Cap Covers Set Of 2
These Fuel Cap Covers are large, about 12 inches in diameter. They work well, and have like a foam suction cup on the underside of the red outer material.
I have these for my beechcraft c23 and I love them!
I like the idea. I have a Piper Apache that got water in the tanks if outside when it would rain. They are known for that problem. I just bought a roll of the blue painters tape and taped over the fuel cover caps. Tape would remove easily on preflight, throw it away, go fly, after landing tie it down and tape over the fuel caps again..... Completely cover the whole fuel door. Now its in a hanger. No issue.
This product has the potential to be useful but it is far too easy to ruin it before its even used. It has micro suction cups on the surface that touches the wing. The micro suction cup side comes protected with a sheet of plastic the exact same size as the cover. Removing this plastic without damaging the cover is challenging. The plastic needs to be larger than the cover. Once the covers are removed it sticks fairly well to a smooth wing surface. For storage, however, if you allow the micro suction cup side of the cover to come in contact with the same side of the other cover, separating them pulls the micro suction cup surface off of both covers making them useless. Mine were ruined after first use when they stuck together in a storage bag that I use to hold my overnight kit (canopy cover, pitot cover, inlet covers, etc). This product needs to be re-engineered and packaged for real life use and should include very clear instructions not to allow the sticky surfaces to contact each other. 50 bucks for a product that is ruined after one use is discouraging to say the least.
Save your money Nice looking covers that uses a small magnet to secure it self to your fuel tank lid. Magnet is useless mine blew away in a 4 knot wind
