Overview

Model #324
3 Ton Low Wing Jack 24" x 40"

Eliminates the frustration of having unstable jacks that conflict with landing gear components and gear doors adjacent to your jack point. These jacks are especially appreciated by owners of Bonanza, Mooney, Comanche, & Twin Comanche Aircraft for the manner in which they may be positioned clear of the inner gear door hinge. Model #324 provides an easy slide under fit on aircraft with lower jack points.

Reviews

I agree with Andrew. Mine have served me well, but when they start leaking/failing in the cylinder, I don’t trust them. That’s when I replace them. Still, I’m getting about six years service out of them, so it could be worse.

When they work they work great. I like the design, clears Baron gear well. Unfortunately, out of the 4 jacks weve had (Two 326 cylinder jacks and two of these 324 cylinder jacks), 3 of the cylinders have had leaks and were removed from service by our GSE shop.

It has a locking friction collar.

Q: What is the diameter of the contact area at the top of the piston? (top of piston dia.)

1.25 inches.

Q: Will this 324 jack work on a Piper Arrow? It has a pyramid sort of jack point and I dont want the plane to slip off the jack.

For that model we actually recommend the 326W model.

Regarding jack points the tops of our jacks are concave, and should accept pretty much any jack point.

Q: One of my jacks has started to not extend fully. I believe its low on fluid. What type of fluid should be used on this jack, 5606?

Per the manufacturer, yes 5606 is the right fluid.
