Reviews

This is the right idea to make a sky beacon fit a Cessna wingtip better. But its made out of 0.060 ABS plastic or similar, way too flimsy to last any reasonable amount of time. I purchased and returned the item.

This is perhaps the most overpriced piece of junk Ive ever purchased. Feels flimsy, fits poorly, and costs way, way too much (and thats saying something for an aircraft part). If you find yourself in need of this part, I highly recommend you buy a TailBeacon instead of a SkyBeacon (which is what I needed up doing after sending this back).

Q: my red position light on my vans RV 7A has a plastic cover over it. can i cut a slot in that plastic cover to let the blade on this unit stick through it and use this ADS-B?

We do not have any data showing this has been done. Since it is an experimental aircraft it is at the discretion of the the installer to determine if this will work.
