RAM Cradle 2 Way Radio

Works as advertised. Provides a solid grip on my Sportys SP-400 handheld radio. The side clamps can be arranged to not interfere with side button operation on this radio.

Not a bad holder, although it is difficult even with the variety of various length fingers to get everything positioned and hold a handheld radio with out interfering with components of the radio itself

RAM Cradle 2 Way Radio

September 7, 2021

Holds portable transceiver as advertised. Only problem is you have to shift radio up or down to keep mount fingers from pressing ptt or other side mounted radio controls. If you slide it up radio doesnt sit on bottom bracket, even if you install small one. Grip is tight enough that it holds radio firmly. In my case a Yaesu fta-750l and Sportys PJ2. Ill eventually glue a cushion of some type to bottom bracket to give radio support.

Ive found it impossible to find a way to adjust this to hold my Yeasu 550L and be able to use the features of the radio. Looks like it would be a nice mount, but pretty worthless if you cant use the features of your radio when its mounted.
