Although this is a straight forward product, you MUST HAVE the Lamp Removal Tool (EAO Product Number 02-906 for Incandescent Bulb) or (EAO Product Number 61-9740.0 for LED Version). You should also have the Lens Removal Tool (EAO Product Number 02-905). Aircraft Spruce sells the replacement bulbs (Incandescent Only), however they DO NOT offer the removal tools. These lens / bulb removal tools are vital. This product is the EAO Series 31 Indicator. A web search will show the PDF product profile with the required removal tools you need. Before purchasing, ask if Aircraft Spruce offers the removal tools. They should have from the start. We learned the hard way.
Please note, Aircraft Spruce's personnel are not certified aircraft mechanics and can only provide general support and ideas, which should not be relied upon or implemented in lieu of consulting an A&P or other qualified technician.
