Works great as mounted on top of the fuselage. I didnt catch the fact that I need a mounting plate and therefore had to pay shipping on a separate order...

Good quality part, well packed. Extremely high price for small gasket. Need second source for older Cessna parts.

5 stars for the usual great A/C Spruce service, but only 2 stars for the part - a red position light lens - because of the $40 price. Its not an optically ground lens, just a hemispherical piece of red glass, thats been available for at least 50 years. Add shipping and it cost about $50. Just another outrageously expensive aircraft part, I suppose.
