The S-AR headset protects your hearing switched on or off. With S-AR switched on you hear a major reduction in low frequency noise. Radio transmissions that are weak and garbled on passive headsets will sound strong and clear with an S-AR headset. Features up to 19 db of active noise reduction, air foam head pad cushion that virtually eliminates “Hot Spots”, ultra-deep gel ear seals for comfort and ease of use and custom flex boom for perfect mic placement. Sigtronics exclusive “Stop-Break” high flex cord and RFI and EMI free electronics make the S-AR ideal for pilots who want a high performance mono/stereo headset. A battery power module (9V) with belt clip and custom headset bag are included with all S-AR headsets. |

As this is my first noise cancelling headset I found the difference it makes was a bit shocking and even seemed too quiet at first untill I got used to it, but it works great. This seems like a good quality item, it feels sturdy and well made and is very comfortable with the deep ear seals and the soft head pad. I also like the slim mic and flex boom. I think it is a good middle of the road ANR headset with no frills.
Sigtronics S-Ar ANR Headset
This is my first anr headset, so I cant compare it with others. I did find it to be comfortable and a significant reduction in the noise level with the anr switched on. It also appears to be well made. I would recommend it as a good value for the price.
We have not used the headsets yet, they were very late in arriving. Just received the balance of our order yesterday.
