Excellent clock, however I recently learned that it should be wired via the master switch unless you fly weekly, as I used to. Otherwise at 12.8 mA my Gill 24V battery (14Ah rated) will loose enough charge over 2 weeks to make starting my O235 difficult.
installed the clock same day I received it and works great, keeps perfect time. Looks good installed.
Ck-7264 Quartz A/C Clock 24V
Needs to have teflon coated wiring for airplanes.
Delivered promptly and working well.
clock is in and works fine I wonder with future up grades should I installed it.
Mine has been running since October 2017. I reset for daylight- standard time, otherwise it stays within a minute.
very happy with looks and time keeping reasonably price and well constructed
I wanted to wait a week or two to review the clock to make sure it kept working. My luck was much better that the previous reviews. Clock arrived quickly and well packaged. Change out of my old quartz clock was straight forward and replacement took about 20 minutes. So far I’m very pleased!
Good price, received it right on time, as usual But, you may want to examine your stock, as to the rear mounting nuts. The clock I received (albeit in great shape) has the rear mounting nuts only halfway cut through from the ferrule that runs from front to the backside of the panel. Screwdriver wont get into the cut slot enough to break the nut loose, and there doesnt appear to be any other means of freeing it. Using another two nuts will work, but the clock then has a space between it and the panel surface.
Mine quit working after six years. Now, I have to decide if I want to buy another one. If I buy a different clock, I will have to change the connector, and thats a hassle to get to at the top of the panel with hardly any room for my hand.
