Looks good . Just now getting around to installing.
Easily run as the housing is the same diameter as the OEM. Both nuts at the control end are adjustable making installation easier.
There was a little work enlarging the hole in the instrument pane,l other than that it fit my PA-28-140 like a glove. Great value for the money.

Per the Alcor website, yes, this is Teflon lined.
This unit is FAA/PMA'd, but does not have an STC with specific aircraft application information. It has a solid wire end which can be trimmed to size. A 337 field approval my be required using this to replace OEM cables. 8130 forms can be provided.
Yes, it can be shortened to the desired length.
The control has 3/4-16 threads going thru the panel. A .765"(+/-.005") hole will need to be drilled in the panel, per the installation instructions.
