P/S 890 Class A is an aircraft integral fuel tank sealant. It has a service temperature range from -65°F (-54°C) to 250°F (121°C), with intermittent excursions up to 275°F (135°C). This material is designed for brush and fay sealing of fuel tanks and other aircraft fuselge sealing applications. The cured sealant maintains excellent elastomeric properties after prolonged exposure to both jet fuel and aviation gas. P/S 890 Class A is a two-part, manganese dioxide cured polysulfide compound. The uncured material is suitable for applicaiton by brush in thickness up to 25 mils. It cures at room temperature to form a resilient sealant having excellent adhesion to common aircraft substrates. |

Great! But why dont you carry the Adhesion Promotor. This sealant is good but get even better results with promotor.
Proseal 0890A002 Sealing Compound 6Oz Cartridge / 3.5 Fl Oz Material Kit
Worked fine!!!!!!
Proseal 0890A002 Sealing Compound 6Oz Cartridge / 3.5 Fl Oz Material Kit
I ordered and the sealant arrived in a few days. I used StrutWipe, also from AS, to clean up dropped sealant and tools. worked great with no harmful chemicals.
Proseal 0890A002 Sealing Compound 6Oz Cartridge / 3.5 Fl Oz Material Kit
This works great for sealing pinholes, etc. It is substantially thinner than the 890-B which is used for fillet filling. I only have two wishies: 1) that you sell it in a smaller tube than 6oz. 2) that you also carry the PR-148 adhesion promoter as adhesion issues are the reason for most of the leaks
Simply put, Great product. Everything you have read about this product is true, except the unused material will set up soon after it is opened
Its a bit wetter and more pliable than B30 or B2. I used it to fill a small pin home fuel leak and then cover the area liberally so no chance of a re-leak. Good stuff but I recommend having a gun with nozzle to apply it.
Usually totally satisfied with the quick and accurate service from Aircraft Spruce. But two comments on this item which might help improve service. 1) Ditto on the other comment on not including the nozzle. PITA … Glad I noticed it was not included or I would have been delayed (and would have had to pay extra shipping charges to get the $1.15 nozzle. 2) Someone at ACS taped the ACS label right on top of the mixing and other instructions on the product packaging. Duh...
The Pro Seal is great but Spruce should have included a nozzle with the kit! The nozzles cost almost nothing unless you have to make a separate order and incur shipping charges!

Yes, this is a one time use, cartridge SEM kit. Part A is in the cartridge, and Part B is in a tube which is inserted in the cartridge while mixing. Once mixed, attach the nozzle provided and insert the cartridge in your dispensing gun, and apply. Dispensing gun is sold separately.
Yes, it is not considered hazardous material for shipping.
Total cure time for the 890a002 is 60 hours. The class B product is thicker and is applied like a paste, class A is thinner and applied with a brush.
