Q: I need to order Butyrate Tinted Dope. The only listing on you site is for non-Tautening and I do not see any way to specify the color I want. Can I order regular Butyrate Tinted Dope? How do I specify color? Thanks, John

In the search bar, keyword "RANDOLPH COLOR SELECTOR" then click on the link to select the colored dope you want to order. Colored dope is only available in non-tautening.

Q: Is Randolph tinted Butyrate Dope compatible with the now defunct superflite butyrate dope?

They can be put on top of one another or beneath one another if scuffing is done, but the components should not be mixed in liquid form together.

Q: Do you sell clear non-tautening Butyrate dope?

Yes, this will be, part # 09-00817 quart, 09-00818 gallon, and 09-00819 5 gallon.

Q: If I am going over Superflite Butyrate colored dope for a repair am I best to use Randolf or Certified Coatings Butyrate Dope?

The Superflite butyrate dope has been discontinued. Superflite suggests to use the Randolph brand butyrate dope as a replacement.

Q: Can the tinted non-tautening dope be brushed on?

It is recommended that the first coat is brushed on and then the following coats are sprayed on.
