This Aerotech rebuilt starter is very good! It was shipped with Aerotech Company paperwork discribing all of the replaced parts. Outside it looks great and inside it looks clean with new brushes and lathe turned commutator that has the mica properly undercut so as not to interfere with the brushes. The brushes have been seated to the commutator. This part no. starter is original equipment for my 1965 Mooney M20E with a Lycoming IO 360 A1A. It works better than the previous rebuilt starter that was installed when my engine was overhauled 640 hours ago. This Aerotech starter spins my engine faster for a quick start.
