I’m sure this bulb has many applications besides a PC-12, but was a perfect fit for the landing gear indicator lights in a series 10 Pilatus PC-XII

They work. Nice and bright, decent longevity. I see a review by Roger M stating that the lamp has a ring thats not flush. Its a flange. It has to be there for this bulbs specification. 6839s are flanged bulbs. If its a problem in our use of the bulb its because you chose the wrong bulb and shouldnt reflect on the product.
These lamps fit and work well in my annunciator switch module.

This manufacturer’s 6839 lamp has a base ring that is not completely flush with the bottom of the bulb, causing the bulb to stick out out slightly from the housing when installed. Not normal from other suppliers and a problem in our use of the bulb.
