Mobilgrease 28 is a supreme performance, wide-temperature, antiwear grease designed to combine the unique features of a polyalphaolefin (PAO) synthetic base fluid with an organo-clay (non-soap) thickener. Its consistency is between an NLGI No. 1 and No. 2 grease. It offers outstanding performance over a wide temperature range. The wax-free nature of the synthetic base fluid, together with its high viscosity index compared to mineral oils, provide excellent low temperature pumpability, very low starting and running torque, and can help reduce operating temperatures in the load zone of rolling element bearings. The clay thickener gives Mobilgrease 28 a high dropping point value of around 300ºC, which provides excellent stability at high temperatures. Mobilgrease 28 resists water washing, provides superior load-carrying ability, reduces frictional drag, and prevents excessive wear. Tests show that Mobilgrease 28 lubricates effectively rolling element bearings under conditions of high speeds and temperatures. Mobilgrease 28 has also shown excellent ability to lubricate heavily loaded sliding mechanisms, such as wing flap screw jacks. For more than 30 years, Mobilgrease 28 has been the multi-purpose grease of choice for military and related aviation applications, worldwide. Mobilgrease 28 is qualified by the U.S. Military under Specification MIL-PRF-81322, General-Purpose, Aircraft, and Specification DOD-G-24508A (Navy) for shipboard auxiliary machinery. It is a U.S. Military Symbol WTR and NATO Code Number G-395 grease. It meets the quality level of DOD-G-24508A, Amendment 4. |

Ideal one airframe grease for single engine GA aircraft. Works from wheel bearings to jack screws. Low water washout is great for exposed landing gear bearings.
There is a damage on the CAN from outside.

Great product. Using it on the clutch and wheel bearings of my atv. If it’s good enough for aircraft wheel bearings, it’s better than good for an atv
My dad was a mechanic who also had his pilots license. He went with Mobils synthetic products as soon as they were on the market so I refuse to go with anything else. I actually ordered Mobilegrease 28 to go on the nylon gear in a vintage mechanical sewing machine as well as on his mothers old 100% metal treadle one. Im sure I wont be disappointed. Owners of electric bikes posted that it was the only grease product to use on nylon gears. Aircraft Spruces service was very prompt and the item was packaged well and it arrived safely. I am pleased.
This was my first order and everything was excellent. Best price I could find. I got a tracking number and my order the same week.
ordered , received , wasnt smashed exactly what i needed
Very satisfied with this product, even outperform my expectation. Low-temperature torque grease with excellent washout resistance. Fast delivery, instant feedback, professional packaging. Definitely, recommend Aircraft Spruce to trade with them.
Great product, great price and fast delivery!
Best pricing I could find. Super fast delivery too! We will be a repeat customer for sure.
Only 4 stars because I have not used it yet, but 4 stars for the price and speed of free delivery. Thank you

Per the supplier: Mobilgrease 28 uses an ISO 32 VG oil in a clay based thickener. Mobilith SHC 100 uses an ISO 100 VG oil (heavier, or thicker, than an ISO 32) in a lithium thickener. Lithium and clay thickeners are not compatible and should not be mixed.
Per Vendor: There have been no tests regarding if Mobil Grease 28 has any issues with mixing with a micro gel thickened grease such as Aeroshell 5.
