I used this to wrap my fuel flow transducer and was surprised by flexibility and the adhesion. I have had 2 premature failures of the transducer so it will be interesting to see if the thermal shield will solve the problem. So far, so good.
Works great... Used it on a fuel transducer for longer life in a hot cowling. Plenty of tape and sticks nice. Cuts with scissors.
I have used this tape to wrap my Nyla Flow pitot static lines that are too close to my cabin heat valve and it works great. I have also used this tape to wrap gaps around my heat ducting where I used the velcro thermo shield wrap. Definitely very sticky and adheres to itself nicely.

This product can protect parts from over 90% of radiant heat up to 2000 degrees F.
You would typically wrap the exhaust to keep the heat in. Something like the Thermo-tec Exhaust Insulating Wrap would work.
