I run the wheel / tire on a modified Aviation Products single fork tailwheel assembly(fork made 1 1/4 longer) mounted on my KR2 aircraft. Experienced flat tires early on. Matco said I was running low pressure. Tire would slip on rim and put holes in tube. Problem was solved by coating the tire bead and rim bead with glue from a tire patch kit. Several years and 100+ hours later and no problems. The only thing Id change is to have a smooth tread on the tire.
