My life was sad and difficult until I received my beloved spool of .032 safety wire. Upon its prompt arrival from Aircraft Spruce (which has been a rarity due to the rona and ASs new routine of listing back stocked items as in stock), I was overwhelmed with joy as it was in a blue, plastic container (blue is my favorite color, except I hate that song by Eiffel65 in the 90s about it) that had a nifty belt clip. The belt clip then became a safety hazard as it positioned the safety wire in the exact position to insert .032 of pure pain into my left love handle (rona has been hard on my fitness). As I screamed in absolute terror and pain from the attempted kidney removal by the blue contained wire, I had wished that our state would open gyms again and cursed Gov. Jay Inlees existence. Happily, the tab was weak on the container and it broke off of my belt, relieving me of the self inflicted blood donation. 10/10 will order again.

Best form factor for long term needs on safety wire, very inexpensive. There are options on different gauges, you want the gauge called for in the operating manual for your plane. Spool keeps the wire well, lots of length for long term use. Twists strong, cuts well.

I purchased the 0.20 safety wire. Fortunately it came in the usual blue plastic container with the belt clip,. This matched my other two safety wire containers. I would have been disappointed if the wire has come in a cardboard container. At least for me, a pound of safety wire lasts for years hence the anticipated longevity of the container matters. Sometimes the container gets set in the snow - cardboard would not be so good.

I actually am using this in my protected masks for the pandemic. The wire is easy to work with, easy to cut and easy to manipulate.

Exactly the safety wire I was seeking. The container however is a cardboard tube container and would have wished that a plastic longer lasting container would have been used instead..

The safety wire (.041) arrived on time as stated on the order. The spool itself is packaged well for ease of dispensing. It will not unspool like traditional spools of safety wire. Great product!!!

Sportys $17.95, Spruce $9.95. Sportys refused price match citing different manufacturer. Sportys Flight Crew free shipping worthless(refused 6 mos. refund also saying Id used it!) NEVER again Sportys! Wasted $18 on Amazon for a pkg of 3 cheese cutter wires that all promptly broke. The 0.020 wire. EXCELLENT for replacing cheese cutter wires! Strong and works easily(0.032 too thick)

Why is this safety wire better than any other safety wire? Because you get it in an awesome plastic container that has a wire holder and belt clip molded in! Way better than the paper can that you had before.

It’s pretty good wire but hard keep from tangled

Quick shipping appreciated. The plastic container was badly broken. I thought about return but not worth the time. Sounds trivial but if I didnt restore the container with lots of wraps of fiber tape I would soon have a tangled birds neat of unusable wire. Never had that problem with the cardboard containers.

Wire is wire, and this wire is fine. But I prefer the plastic containers that Ive had in the past. I doubt the container on this one will last very long.
