Overview

The Snapper (Tool for canopy escape to break shards of plastic after flip-over for escape). This tool was developed specifically for the RVs. This little tool could really save the day in the event of a flip over in your RV. We learned that almost all flip overs result in the canopy being broken and cracked. At first glance one would say that is a good thing, and should help facilitate a speedy exit.

Not the case, it seems the partially broken canopy has sharp shards of Plexiglas that are impossible to break off with your bare hands.

This very small, lightweight (less than two oz.) aluminum escape tool when carried in your airplane could really save the day. It makes short work of breaking away the shards of plastic up to ¼” thick. This tool is laser cut .125”, heat treated, aircraft grade aluminum, de-burred, and tumbled to eliminate sharp edges. Because it is very thin, it allows you to carry it in your plane with just a piece of Velcro to hold it in a location where it is easily accessible should you find the need for it.
