Overview

Brownline style seat track and extrusion for modifications and homebuilder, or experimental aircraft. Can be ordered as slotted extrusion with or without 0.785” diameter machined openings every one inch, and can be purchased in anodized standard lengths or by the inch. They can also be purchased in non-anodized bulk lengths from 75” to 180”. Compatible with common MS33601 .73” diameter style fittings, the new tracks are precision machined, from aerospace grade 7075-T6511 aluminum with full traceability and material certification.

Q: 1. What are the dimensions of this track in a widthwise cross sectional cut? In other words, what is the width and height of this track?<br><br> 2. Do you offer this track without pre-drilled mounting holes?

Regarding part number 05-07163: The rail is 1.34" in width and .37" in height. This part number has .785" diameter openings every one inch. Please use part number 05-07172 for the track without openings. 05-07172 is priced and sold by the inch.

Q: Is this product ok for use in certified aircraft?

The part was made to the manufacturers PMA PQ3732CE, but a new installation may require a 337 field approvel. Consult with your A&P for field approval procedures.

The dimensions I have available are: Width= 1.35 Height= 0.37.
