I purchased these to replace the vents in my Cardinal. They were an exact replacement and very much improved over the old plastic vents.

Brought them to replace front and rear vents in my 1974 Beechcraft Sundowner. Perfect fit and finish. A great upgrade from the factory plastic vents.
These are a perfect fit for my Cessna Cardinal.
Exact fit for C177 RG 1978, in case youre ever asked. Works great so far. Now Ill have to talk to your avionics guys.
Fit perfectly into my 1973 Piper Challenger (Cherokee 180). Vents open/close smoothly and appear well constructed.
Update on my previous review. I was able to modify these vents with the help of my local machine shop who cut them down approximately 1/16 in to fit in the Gasper cup. I also had to slot the screw holes slightly but now I have solid sturdy vents that a child can open and close without effort. If the vents did not have to be modified to fit I would have given these vents a 5 + rating because they are rock solid and very well built but with the extensive mods I believe 3 is a fair rating for my application.
This is a solid well built vent that is very easy to open and close. But if you are buying it as a drop in replacement for a 1968 Cherokee Six Gasper vent it will not fit. The back retainer ring is to big to fit in the Gasper cup by about .02 inches. It is a shame because the vent is really well made and solid as a rock. I had to return the vents and am still looking for a suitable replacement.

This fits the standard Piper plastice vents but here is no application guide by specific aircraft model. Please view the drawings under the "Tech Drawing" tab on this webpage. This will use a 2" duct.
These vents weigh approx 0.15 lbs.
