Great product. Fairly easy to install. Takes time and patience. Well worth it though for additional lighting under the panel.
I bought one when I had a 1976 Piper Cherokee 140. I bought one for it and loved it! A little trimming and fitting and it went in just fine. I did do the install when I was replacing the windshield, so it was an easy install. Then I bought a 1976 Cessna 150M and one of the 1st upgrades was an Ashbey Glareshield. Keeps the sun off the instrument panel. I also bought the LED strip lighting and the panel looks fantastic at night. I would buy another if I ever buy another plane.

The with lights version will come with a light strip to install on the glareshield to provide instrument lighting in the cockpit.
No they are not pre-installed on the glare shield.
