This is a 3-1/4" dia. can reservoir with a 5/8" od hose barb outlet, 1/8"npt curtis drain valve on bottom of can, and a fire wall mounting bracket. It keeps oil in can and off belly of airplane then can be drained later with petcock. Helps to keep crank case condensation to a minimum. Installed on a Cub copy with an O-200. The breather line was moved to the starter blank plate with an internal baffle installed. Works great!!! No more oil on the belly of the plane and very little oil collects in the can.
I was warned not to use this because if it freezes you could blow the seal in your engine, loose all your oil crash and burn

Can material is steel. The can cannot be disassembled. To clean the can take off of the fire wall and flush with solvent and open petcock and drain. Allow three hours for drying. Install back in place.
Overall height is 5-1/2"
It would vent air out of the top it the engine compartment, but oil would be held in the can until drained.
