Easy install, Old Beacon and Flasher out, New Beacon uses same screw holes. Connect the wires, done. Super Bright!
Had to drill out 2 holes on the base to no 8 plus counter sink them. Spend the extra money and put this led assy in. Way over priced but works very well. Glad its tso 1970 177b
I got everything. The parcel arrived quickly. Im hope very much that you complete and send me order #3674071 as fast. Sincerely yours, AP
Installed on my C150L. Had to drill out and countersink two hold down screws on mounting plate so beacon glass cover hold down ring would mount flush to mounting plate. Otherwise a simple install. Just have to disconnect Cessna flasher in tail of plane and splice the power wire from switch to beacon to bypass original flasher. Just hard to justify $900 for this part but like all airplane parts...you want to play you really have to pay! Does not load up my alt like the original flasher, so all seems good so far.
Perfect fit with no fuss on my 76 177rg. Very bright and Im very happy with it.
Excellent product. Easy to install. Very bright!
Installed on 1969 C-150J without the need for any crazy airframe modifications. Removed old flasher and beacon, minor wire work, unit installed and ops check complete. We did complete a 337 as per the Manufactures installation instructions. No bleed over in headset as last unit did. The picture is deceiving as the lens is not tinted at the top, clear all around. Recommend Spruce post an actual photo of the unit to clear that up.
Installed easily and gives brilliant light. It eliminated the audio noise we were getting in our headsets from the old beacon. We did not have to fill out a 337 for the 182q. Only downside, very expensive.
1/2 hour install on my C206. Very bright both day and night.
Easy to install and very bright.

The gasket in question (part number 11-10407 found in the "Accessories" tab) is part of the light assembly and is needed at all times. This is a gasket that goes between the lens and the base to inhibit moisture issues.
This gasket is part of the beacon assembly. For installation, you do not need to purchase an additional gasket. It is ready for install out of the box.
