The -00 does not have a lens and the -04 has a lens. No other difference.
One has a optic lens that spreads the beam for taxing, and the other clear lens is use for spot lights(landing.) The light, bulb and brightness will be the same for both units.
No, these are not LED.
Whelen recommends our part number 11-11189 as a LED replacement.
The bulb is potted in this assembly, it cannot be replaced.
