Easy to install, brighter than the original bulbs, flashing is a nice feature for daytime use. I fly in a high traffic density area - KDVT in Phoenix - and run them in flash mode in the daylight to be a little more visible.

Easy upgrade even for a non-mechanic, would highly recommend....much better visibility, and the strobe function is great. Great value for the money. 1974 Cessna 182P, 14v.
Product was as easy to install and worked flawlessly right out of the box. Great product on my Piper PA28 Cherokee 160.

Awesome! Quickly installed in place of the Halogen bulbs and so much BRIGHTER! Two things to know - clean the sockets FIRST even if they look ok & it will take a few activations for all three to synch but they will in time.

NavStrobe Sextant Aircraft Navigation System With Constant & Fast Strobes 45W
They work great, easy install, no STC paperwork to have to fill out , and you don’t have to pay anyone to install them. All I needed was a Phillips screw driver. Warning. Do not look directly at them when they are on. They will leave an impression of how bright they are.

Per NavStrobe: The lights strobe the colored LEDs so they are much brighter than a dual colored setup. Besides, the human eye is 4X more sensitive to colored LEDs, so no white LEDs.
Per NavStrobe: The colored LEDs strobe. That is why they will drown out white wingtip strobes as well.
Yes, see part # 11-13587 for the tailfin bulb only.
Per NavStrobe: Yes. Replacement is considered "Elementary work" and allows the owner/operator to replace the existing lamp. The TSO certifies that the kit is a direct replacement for those existing position lamps and is therefore a drop-in replacement.
Per NavStrobe: If the tail (rear) position lamp is the same GE-93 (12v) or GE-1308 (24v) type for each lamp, then the part # 11-13587 will replace them.
No new switch or wire required. Use the existing nav switch and wires.
