Solvent resistant silicone adhesive/sealant Dow Corning®730 FS Solvent Resistant Sealant is a ready-to-use, solventless, nonslumping fluorosilicone rubber paste that reacts with moisture in the air to form a tough, rubbery solid. It is a fluid-resistant material that is ideally suited for use in many applications where resistance to fumes, splash, and sometimes even total immersion in fuels, oils and solvents is needed. Dow Corning 730 FS Solvent Resistant Sealant features good resistance to weathering, vibration, moisture, ozone, and temperature extremes. It retains its flexibility over a wide temperature. Dow Corning 730 FS Solvent Resistant Sealant can be applied overhead or on vertical surfaces without fear of sagging, slumping or running off. For bonding and sealing applications where resistance to the swelling effects of fuels, solvents and oils is required.
Used for formed-in-place gaskets where irregular shapes and harsh conditions reject ordinary seals. For bonding or sealing of components exposed to moisture, vibration, shock, fuels, solvents and oils for long periods of time. |

Excellent!
Dow 730Fs Solvent Resit Sealant
Great product, good service from Aircraft Spruce!
Dow 730Fs Solvent Resit Sealant
Have used this on three E/A-B aircraft. This product guarantees there will not be a fuel leak on any fitting to which its applied. (Six nylon fittings in my aircraft shrank due to age, and all four were sloppy-loose, yet the rubbery aspect of this compound kept the fuel system sealed until they were discovered and replaced.)
This stuff is expensive but its pretty much the only RTV that is fuel proof. Fortunately a little goes a long ways.
I'm just delighted to find out Aircraft Spruce carries this item (Dow Corning 730 RTV). I had a difficult time find anyone who had it in stock. I placed my order on Friday and had it delivered on Monday. Great service!

The technical data information does not list ethanol, but does state if is used on fuel lines and tanks. We have added the tech data sheet for review in the 'Documents' tab of the web page.
Per Vendor: DC730 is fuel resistant and it is an adhesive similar to other silicone RTV materials. The fuel resistance is an added benefit of the DC730 that goes above and beyond typical silicone RTV's.
As long as the tube is sealed it should be fine to reuse again later. Keep in mind once opened it would reduce the shelf life.
