Overview

Human Factors for Aviation Maintenance covers the aspects of psychology, performance, and communications which are important for individuals and teams working in an aviation maintenance environment. You will learn by understanding concepts, not just rote memorization and you will learn how and why the consideration of human nature contributes to accident prevention as well as safety and efficiency in a Part 145 organization and on the flight line.

Also included in this manual is a detailed description of the the MEDA model (Maintenance Error Decision Aid) developed by The Boeing Company. Included is its philosophy and process, how to develop and implement the program, along with sample MEDA forms and advice on how to complete it while getting the most of the program.

This book is fully compliant as EASA Part 66 module 9 for the B1 and B2 license and has been given approvals by numerous EASA based civil aviation authorities.
