I used this antenna as a primary for a pair of G5’s in an experimental. The length of cable was adequate to get the antenna off the glare shield.

My original battery, though hardly used was one day found to be no longer working. The Garmin 495 though an old product is still supported by Garmin as it is So good. I am thankful that batteries are still available. My 495 is working well now. Thank you Garmin.

The datalink cable does what Id expect it to do. Its fused, runs power to and takes outputs from my 396. I have yet to tap that data/audio, but dig the fact that power to the device is cleaner!
