On August 23, 2004, Master Sergeant Horelle and Staff Sergeant Roberts, representing the Armed Forces of the United States, visited Aircraft Spruce's Headquarters in Corona, California to present a Patriotic Employer Award to Jim and Nanci Irwin. The company was nominated by John Harford, who was an avionics technician with Aircraft Spruce Avionics prior to being called to active duty with the National Guard and Reserve Force in December 2003. John has been with Aircraft Spruce for many years and his departure for the Middle East during the holidays created quite an impact on his family. The employees and management of Aircraft Spruce collected a fund on the Harford family's behalf which John Harford accepted at the company Christmas party prior to his departure overseas.

Aircraft Spruce thanks John Harford and all of the personnel serving in the armed forces in the Middle East for their dedication and sacrifice to our nation's cause.
