ULTRAVISION GLARE SHIELD LIGHTING Ultravision glare shield lighting systems provide soft, clean, even light which is completely non-glare. The light emitted from Ultravision has a very narrow spectral ouput matched to the wavelength at which the human eye is most receptive. Unlike bulb systems, which produce a "hot spot" of focus, intensity of Ultravision is consistent and even. The kits include 16" long lamps which are ultra-thin for a flush factory look and ultra-flexible to conform to virtually any glare shield. Easily mounted with supplied adhesive or set screws and solid state construction eliminates failure from shock & vibration. Failsafe internal fuse enables a 9V battery back up bypass in the event of complete electrical failure in flight,pro- viding instrument panel illumination without aircraft power. The 9V battery power can also be used during pre-flight. Universal systems include a pre-wired harness with toggle switch, pulse dimming control, and the patented 9 V battery back-up system, as well as installation hardware and a label for the switch. These universal systems operate on 14 or 28V aircraft power. Economy systems are designed to connect to the existing aircraft dimming control and does not include the 9 volt battery back-up feature. 14 or 28 volt aircraft input must be specified on economy systems.
