The Modular Mobile Computing Platform includes a state-of-the-art ARS/GPS module driving the revolutionary VistaNav Synthetic Vision System for a completely independent, battery backup, emergency situational awareness display with Highway-in-the-Sky (HITS). A Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR) image has been integrated as a display option within the 3D/2D split-view navigation screen of the system. This provides a FLIR image superimposed with aircraft attitude information within the 3D pane and VistaNav 2D navigation information with TAWS on the 2D pane. |
