KANNAD ELT-NAV INTERFACE KIT - CS144-RS & CS144-A
Main Features:
  • Combines the aircraft identification (contained in the programming dongle) with the aircraft position to generate the appropriate long message.
  • Updates every minute an internal memory module that contains either the short or the long message
  • To insert between ELT and the dongle
  • Connected to the NAV equipment with RS232, RS422 or RS485 link (automatic transmission speed detection)
  • Connected to the NAV equipment with ARINC 429 (Low or High speed) - For Model CS144-A ONLY
  • NAV equipment must send ARINC 429 labels 310 and 311 - For Model CS144-A ONLY
  • NAV equipment must send either NMEA 0183 or ARNAV A/B labels
  • Weight: 650g
  • Dimensions: 180 x 82 x 82 mm
Applications:
  • Compatible with all KANNAD 406 ELTs except KANNAD 406 AS and SURVIVAL.
  • Compatible with all RCP manufactured by MARTEC SERPEIESM
  • Compatible with all Programming Dongles manufactured by MARTEC SERPEIESM
Caution:
  • Model CS144-RS ONLY - ELT-NAV Interface Kit (P/N S1825501-01) includes ELT-NAV interface unit (P/N S1825502-01) plus CS144 to ELT cable (P/N S1825503-01)
  • Model CS144-A ONLY - ELT-NAV Interface Kit (P/N S1825501-02) includes ELT-NAV interface unit (P/N S1825502-02) plus CS144 to ELT cable (P/N S1825503-02)
  • Distance between ELT and CS144 must be less than 45cm
  • The "Mounting Bracket, 1 Strap" (S1820511-01) must be ordered separately
  • The use of a programming dongle is mandatory
