The antenna performance is superior to most in use today in private aircraft. It is a dipole that is folded up to minimize the vertical dimension and requires 12" of fore and aft space and 26.5" vertically. It is designed with flexibility so it can match the internal curvature of the fuselage. The VSWR is less than 2:1 across the com frequency band.
