Flight Display Systems FD900X3B is Three (3) Channel
Transmitter. The wireless transmitter is designed to be used
exclusively in the aircraft cabin with the
Sennheiser HDR-140 headsets. Flight Display
Systems has had PMA authorization on 900
MHz wireless transmitters for five years.
No need to install expensive wiring or switch
panels at each seat to select cabin audio.
Just interface the audio components to the
small wireless transmitter unit. The headsets
do the rest! Low cost, minimal downtime, and
easy installation. You can move around the
aircraft cabin while listening to the surround
sound of music and movies without having to
drag a headset wire with you.
The latest and greatest in surround sound
technology from Sennheiser. This headset cups
the ears and cuts 10 db of ambient noise.
The HDR-140 is a significant improvement over
previous models. The headsets use 2 standard
AAA batteries. The average use time with new
batteries is 18 hours.
Each headset provides access to up to three (3)
channels by pressing the TUNE button found on
the headset. There is also a volume control and
on/off switch. If there is no signal on any of the
frequencies, the headset will go into a sleep
mode to save the batteries.
There is no limit to the number of headsets that
you can have in the cabin. We recommend
purchasing one HDR-140 headset (sold separately), for
every passenger seat in the cabin. |
